Why Pick Me?
Choosing a photographer to capture the most sentimental parts of your family’s legacy is an important decision with lots of factors to consider. You want wall art, you want announcement cards, you want to be able to share, and you don’t have the time to design an album. Or know where to print any of these things for that matter. You care about quality and service, and your time is important to you. When you book with me, I will take care of every detail, because I understand and value these same things, and I know that time is short and your baby will never be this tiny again. And you’ll never have this time back.Â
As the hours flow into days, days into weeks, and weeks into months, next thing you know, your sweet baby is ONE! Where did the time go? The year is gone in a flash, and all the little details of these sweet beginnings fade from memory.Â
The saying that the days are long but the years are short is so true, and each milestone that passes goes by in an instant and quickly feels like a distant memory. As a mom, I don’t want to forget a single detail. As a photographer, I don’t want you to, either.
My Beautiful Heirloom Products

I can picture telling my daughter stories and looking at photos when she’s older, and even beyond – her sharing with her children, grandchildren, and so on. I want to help you preserve your family’s story with portraits of the most precious part – your children! And I have some beautiful archival quality products to choose from to ensure your portraits withstand being passed down throughout your family’s legacy. Because although you you’ll get a digital file of each printed portrait, the hardware it is stored on can and will fail. But the printed art can be forever.Â
Keeping Your Little One Safe
Since the signature newborn session takes place in the clients home, you can be assured of the safety and cleanliness of your baby’s environment during the photo session. I in turn clean all items that are brought to the session, including laundering all fabrics with baby safe soap (I like Tide free and gentle), steam cleaning and/or UVB sterilizing non-washable items, and wiping down hard props with antibacterial wipes. I do this after every session, whether the item was used or not.
I take my own health, my family’s, and my clients health & wellness seriously. I have a strict sick policy, and confirm with all clients before the session that everyone is healthy, and reschedule any clients that are not well. I also do not book other clients on the same day as a newborn session, and regularly use hand sanitizer throughout the session.Â

Whoa!
It may come as a surprise to know that there isn’t a nationally recognized Newborn Photography Certification program. Sure, professional newborn photographers keep up with annual training and workshops, but there aren’t any widely known programs being utilized by the field as a whole.Â
Rest assured, despite there not being an official certification, I’ve been trained by the best industry, and know how to read baby’s cue’s, how to safely wrap and pose baby to ensure their limbs are posed naturally and comfortably, and that breathing passages are clear and protected in posing during the session. I practice each pose in the safest manner, including often combining 2 or more images to create a finished piece that appears to have the baby suspended, or resting unsupported (which neither should be attempted unsupported in a single image).
While my gentle, baby-led session takes place in your home, I do request that if there are other children home, that someone is available to care for them during the session.Â
Finally, as a professional, I’m insured, and am registered with the state of Florida to legally operate my business.

A fully customized experience
Just as there are many photographers to choose from, there is a wide variety of experiences to be had. From start to finish, the full service experience my clients have come to expect really stands out. Especially when it comes to newborns – where I come to you, where there’s no coordinating getting out of the house with your newborn, or multiple littles. I bring everything needed for the session to give you a boutique experience and timeless images to be cherished for generations, right from the comfort and convenience of your own home.Â

My signature newborn session also includes parent and sibling portraits, on a different day if needed! All custom sessions include use of the client closet & wardrobe guidance. Hair and makeup services are also available to ensure everything is perfect for your portraits.Â

Once your session is booked, I’ll have you select your portrait package and make payment arrangements. The minimum a la carte payment is required prior to your session, but some great complimentary pre-payment bonuses are available for choosing pre-made collections instead!  A convenient interest-free automated pre-payment plan is available, and If your session is booked on short notice but you’d still like to take advantage of an interest-free payment plan, I conveniently accept PayPal credit (pending their approval, and subject to their terms).

At the end of your portrait session, you’ll see your photos right away, and cause you’ll love them all, you can upgrade your package at this time if desired. We’ll go through your images and select which ones will be edited for print, and how you’ll want to display them. After the session, the retouching for your selected portraits will be completed within 3 weeks. I’ll send over the album proof, and order your items. Once the order arrives complete, I’ll check it over for perfection and make the delivery arrangements with you.Â

Being a new parent is a busy and exciting, but super exhausting time. There’s lots to think about and so much information to remember. When you book with me, you can be assured that the whole experience and finished photos will be perfect, and I’ll take care of all the details for you. The only thing left for you to do is book!
